YOUNG, Mrs. Edith Madore
Mrs. Edith Madore Young, 76, of 105 South Lee Street, died suddenly Monday at her residence. A life-long resident of this city, she was born here December 2, 1894, a daughter of the late L. Clark and Lavinia (Heintz) Madore. Her husband, Robert Wellington Young, died March 24, 1958. Mrs. Young was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Women's Society of Christian Service, teacher in the Adult Women's Bible Class, member of the Council of Church Women United; Women's Civic Club of Cumberland and North Branch Homemakers Club. She was a graduate of Frosturg State Normal School, Class of 1913. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. A. Ridgeley (Thelma) Friedel, North Ridge, Calif., four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends vill be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
