    • Buker/Bowker of Maine & Massachusetts GenCircles.com web site has a George Thomas Buker as the son of Aaron and Eunice S. Merrill. It also as a Theodore Buker as the son of George Thomas Buker. No references are noted on web site for these entries.

      It also has this footnote: Aaron went South when he was a young man. He was in the railroad business when he died. He entered the Army and was never heardfrom after that. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Baltimore, Md.

      Local Matters

      Sudden Death-- On Tuesday night last John Buker died quite suddenly from the effect of an apoplectic fit, at his residence, No. 49 Booth street. Dr. Greentree, coroner, held an inquest, the jury rendering a verdict of death from natural causes. He was an employee at Page’s foundery, and was 51 years of age. He leaves a wife and four children.
