  Yahoo transcription/translation of 1661 Dobel church book pastor note: "Auff [ ] Moritz Karchers zu Rothensohl und seiner andern Hausfraw Margaretha, hab ich underschreibner damaliger Pfarrher, dise nachfolgende Kinder, welche wegen diß [ ] dises nirgend auffgeschieben worden [ ] wollen als C.stlich Ao. 1648 in Februario umb liess(?) [ ] prato propter ist geboren u. getaufft worden Catharina. Die Eltern waren gemeldter Moritz Karcher u. seine erste annoch lebende Uxor Catharina. GrVatter war Georg Adam von Frawenalb. [ ] ander ist [ ] Moritz Karcher in seiner anderen Ehe mit seiner Haußfraw Margaretha geboren u. in Herrenalb getaufft worden Ao. 1658 umb den dreÿ König Tag: Hanß Georg. GrVatter, Viet Knoller von Loffenaw u. Anna seine Uxor. die 30 Decembris, Ao. 1661 M. Christoph Caspar Haupt, Pastor [ ]" "On the [ ] of Moritz Karcher from Rotensol and his second wife, Margaretha, I, the current clergyman signed below, [have written, added, or something similar] the following children, who, because of [ ] were never recorded: in February of the year of our Lord 1648, Catharine was born and baptized. [No idea what "prato propter" means]. The parents were the mentioned Moritz Karcher and his first wife, still living, Catharina. The godfather was Georg Adam from Frauenalb. The other, born to Moritz Karcher and his second wife, Margaretha, and baptized in Herrenalb on the Feast of the Three Kings in the year 1658: Hans Georg. Godparents were Viet Knoller from Loffenau and his wife Anna. The 30th day of December in the year 1661 M. Christoph Caspar Haupt, Pastor [ ].
