1. Samuel4 High (John3, John2, Thomas1) was born about 1740 in Prince George Co., VA, and died 15 December 1812 in Wake Co., NC He married (1) Clara Jackson? about 1764 in VA or NC. She was born about 1746 in VA or NC, and died Bef. 20 November 1800 in Wake Co., NC. He married (2) Media Garrott 20 November 1800
in Wake Co., NC. She died May 1816 in Wake Co., NC.
Notes for Esq Samuel High:
Clara Jackson(?) The only place I've found the name of Clara Jackson was in a DAR paper, where it seems to have been handed down in the family, so I'm still looking, perhaps she'll turn up in a Deed.
When he married Madia (Middy) Gairott, their Bondsman was Lewis Greene.
