But I did find a way to search the book and the name McKecknie is found on page 258. This coupled with a Philadelphia PA 8 Dec 1841 death certificate for a Lydia North aged 64 (1851-64=1777) does to me verify this is a correct record. From "The History of Augusta, from the Earliest Settlement to the Present Time" it seems her children Mary Jane, James, and Margaret all later lived in Philadelphia so she probably resided with a child ofter husband Joseph died.
