• Notes

  The Levi Maddox obituary (attached to Find-a-Grave memorial) has her born 1799 in Wilkes Co. GA. Daniel last seen in Mecklenburg Co. tax list in 1787 and he appears in Wilkes Co. tax digest in 1805. So location of birth could be Virginia, Georgia, or somewhere inbetween. I used Virginia since he does not appear in 1792 or 1801 Wilkes Co. tax digest. --- A tree on ancestry.com notes that in the book "Primitive Baptist Church Records 1843-1899" by Primitive Baptist Church, Popular Springs, Alabama at Tuscaloosa Alabama Public Library has the following: NAMES OF MEMBERS OF THE POPULAR SPRINGS PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH, 1843-1898 MEMBER: ELIZABETH MADDOX DIED 04 AUG 1852 ---
